Gorgonzola and Walnut Tartine
Tartine di Gorgonzola e Noci

1/4 pound Gorgonzola
2 ounces mascarpone
8 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed
16 walnuts halves



In a bowl, cream the Gorgonzola with a wooden spoon, slowly adding the mascarpone a little at a time, until it is well incorporated and smooth. Spread the cheese mixture on the slices of bread, cut each slice in 1/2 on a diagonal and garnish with a walnut. Serves 4

Wine Suggestion, dry aromatic white or juicy mediumbodied red
